Until GERRI GRANGER by chance won a amateur night contest at Teddy Powell's Lounge in Newark, N.J. When she was 14, she had no thoughts of becoming a professional singer, but, it was apparent and quickly acknowledged that GERRI has a "GIFT", that would not be stilled.

After graduation from Weequarhic Hugh School in Irvington, N.J., Gerri received an Art Scholarship to study Industrial Design, finishing at New York University.
