Yellin, Judith
Judith Yellin Ginat was born in Jerusalem. She graduated from Bezalel Academy of Art, Jerusalem in 1943 where she studied under M. Ardon and I Ascheim. In 1949 she graduated from the Central School of Arts and Crafts London where she studied under R.R.
Tomlinson, W. Johnstone and J. Minton.

In 1966 she became a member of the Israel Painters and Sculptors Association. She furthered her education by studying etching under S.W. Hayter, in Paris. During 1965-1975 her collages were chosen for UNICEF greeting cards. Her text books on teaching arts and crafts “Kishut”(Decoration), “Ani Mekashet” (I Decorate), “Ma’aseh Yadai” (The Work of My Hands) were recommended by the Ministry of Education.
She has enjoyed worldwide distribution of series of art-posters, lithographs and serigraphs, reproduced in Israel from collages. She is a teacher of arts and crafts in teachers colleges, Senior lecturer in the School of occupational therapy an
